Mirror, mirror on the wall, whos the fairest of us all? Do you still remember this chant popularized by the wicked stepmother of Snowhite? Mirrors play an important role to every woman conscious about their looks. It helps us see physical realities that we often deny. In the same way, makeup mirrors tell us what to enhance and hide with our makeup. One must invest or have good quality mirrors that would best reflect our real appearance or that would best magnify our imperfections to help us determine which part of our faces to focus more our makeup on.
Makeup mirrors are usually distinguished with the ones we portably carry on our bag to aid us in our makeup retouches or the ones that are built-in our makeup kits. Aside from these, however, makeup mirrors come in more types, each of which especially designed to answer needs of every woman. Among these are integrated mirrors, accessory mirrors, hand-held mirrors, stationary mirrors, magnifying mirrors, and lighted makeup mirrors.
Integrated and accessory mirrors are what were mentioned earlier. Integrated mirrors are the built-in mirrors usually found in our makeup kits while accessory mirrors are the small compact mirrors one can portably and conveniently carry in the handbag.
As its name suggests, hand-held mirrors are the ones with long handles, which one can conveniently hold on to and project in different angles of the face. Stationary mirrors, on the other hand, have adjustable stands or swiveling features that would save one from the trouble of holding one mirror on one hand and a makeup brush on the other.
Magnifying mirrors, moreover, are the ones that let you see enlarged details of your face such as your lip line, eye line, and other spots, which one could miss in ordinary view. It is also very useful in spotting fine lines and blemishes that need to be concealed. Some women with poor eyesight rely heavily on magnifying mirrors in properly doing their make up.
Lastly, lighted makeup mirrors are the ones built in with lights for a brighter look at your face. It is usually placed in poorly lit rooms. A consistent light source can help better spot uneven makeup applications that result from shadowy environment.
Makeup mirrors can really help you in applying your makeup properly. However, no matter what type of makeup mirror you have, always remember to use when its really clear and squeaky clean for you to see the real you.

If you would ask any woman on the face of this Earth, she would most likely say that the makeup mirror is one of her daily essentials. In fact, you probably wont find a woman who does not have a makeup mirror handy in her purse, in her pocket, in her locker, or just about anywhere!
But before the makeup mirror was centralized for just the application of makeup itself, it cannot be denied that there were indeed many uses for the mirror. Some even used the makeup mirror in conducting science experiments! Today, however, the main purpose of the makeup mirror is merely the application of makeup. This is because the makeup mirror is just about the most convenient tool for this endeavor. This is especially because the makeup mirror is very handy, and can be kept inside the smallest pocket ever perceived.
It does not mean that one cannot apply makeup on her face without the use of the makeup mirror. In fact, any woman can apply makeup without having to use a makeup mirror. Still, using it would definitely make the act a whole lot easier because despite its small size, the makeup mirror can give any woman a clear and vivid picture of her face, so that she can go about the whole process without making any mistakes, such as blemishes, on any part of her face. Whats more, finding such mistakes would be easier with the makeup mirror because it can clearly show you these mistakes right off the bat. Thus, with makeup mirrors, women can immediately correct these mistakes. Common mistakes include over application and under application.
But what if you have a bit of trouble seeing things clearly? With makeup mirrors, this can also be a problem because of their small sizes. However, this would not be that much of an issue at all because there are actually makeup mirrors that have magnifying capabilities. In fact, some mirrors actually offer up to 12 times magnification for your viewing pleasure. What is so great about these mirrors is the fact that they have been designed to solely assist people who have problems with their vision.
One thing any woman has to remember when using makeup mirrors is the fact that proper lighting can help anyone achieve that right skin or color tone for her appearance. Thus, proper lighting should be employed when youre using such a mirror. It is strongly recommended that people use natural lighting when applying makeup. This is because you will be going out under natural light after applying such makeup.

Ladies usually have their own makeup kits and they should. Makeup kits allow them to organize their makeup gadgets, tools, and products. It would be easier to look for things you need when you have them in one case. This is not only good at home, but also when youre on the go. Take for example if you are in a hurry, you dont have enough time to do your makeup at home because youre running late for work, would that mean then that youll just better off without any make-up or powder on, or youll just have to be late than go without makeup on? Either way, its not good for you, right? This is when your organized makeup kits come in handy. You can just carry them apply makeup on your way to work if youre not driving or apply makeup when you reach the office.

There are items that already come in sets. These are usually less expensive than when you buy them individually or per piece go for it since it already has its own kit or case. Just make sure too that it has good quality meaning it wont irritate your face or wont be damaged immediately.
As long as you have the essentials, then you are good to go. Here are some things, which might be missing in your makeup kits, but are must-haves.
